Termites
Termites
There are three main types of termites that we commonly deal with. These are the coptotermes, schedorhinotermes, and the nasutitermes.
While these are technical sounding names, they are all drawn to buildings generally for a moisture supply. They do this by starting their nests in surrounding trees and then burrow their way underground to the houses.
Infestations can be insignificant to extreme but in some severe cases, the sound of them chewing on timber is audible from a short distance away.

Our Termite Services
Termite Inspections
IS your property already infested with termites?
Regular inspections are vital. This is because termites are capable of using multiple means of accessing your property. For example, they may use fences, water pipes and other structures to create a “bridge” between treatment zones to access your home.
Our termite inspections come with a 25+ page inspection report, so you can rest easy knowing your property is termite free.
Termite Baiting
Is your home already infested with termites?
Our termite baiting process uses systems such as Sentricon to attract termites to poisons which will then be consumed.
These are installed every 3m around the outside of your property to ensure all areas are sufficiently covered.
Chemical Barriers
Chemical barriers can be used to prevent termites from accessing your property.
We will dig a shallow trench around your property and fill it with specialised chemicals that target termites. This creates a continuous barrier around your property.
If this treatment is carried out to our specifications, we supply an 8 year / $2 million warranty.
Termites We Kill
Coptotermes
Species of Termite
Where they are commonly found:
- Trees, tree stumps.
- Untreated garden beds.
- Subfloors and inside homes.
General info
Coptotermes are the most common type of termites in Australia.
They usually eat timber partially making them more difficult to locate.
Capable of burrowing 50m underground to reach a house.
How do we deal with them?
Baiting Systems:
One of the most effective ways to deal with termites is through baiting systems which have an attractant poison inside. They should be installed every 3m around the house and in any garden beds.
Termite Barriers:
This method involves digging and treating around the property and drilling holes in concrete sections. This is done so the soil underneath can be treated which creates a chemical barrier.
Schedorhinotermes
Species of Termite
Where they are found:
- Trees, tree stumps.
- Untreated garden beds.
- Inside homes.
General info
These termites are much larger and more aggressive than coptotermes.
They commonly make networks made up of multiple nests.
Known to completely hollow out timber.
Capable of causing extreme damage in just 6 months of access.
